Count for Democracy!

Launched in January 2022 ahead of April’s Hungarian parliamentary elections, the Count for Democracy! Campaign brings together a number of projects led by Unhack Democracy to improve citizen awareness of the threats to electoral integrity, and engage and educate voters in how to take a more active role in the electoral process by signing up and training as ballot counters.

The Election Health Check video series, based on our research and directed by Viktor Bodó, helps deliver our message on how citizens can protect the integrity of the elections while our interactive e-learning platform for poll workers provides citizens with the training and know-how to more effectively oversee the lawful collection and counting of votes on polling day.
